Creamy Cauliflower

For 2 people :

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

? Cooking Time: 40 minutes 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Topping: Fresh coriander or parsley

For the Turmeric Tahini Sauce: 

  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp turmeric

  

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. 2. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly with water and white vinegar, and remove the leaves. Boil the cauliflower for 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Drain the water and remove the cauliflower. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix the salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika with the olive oil.
  5. 5. Spread the mixture over the cauliflower, ensuring it is completely coated.
  6. 6. Bake for 40 minutes at 200°C (392°F).
  7. 7. For the turmeric tahini sauce, mix all the ingredients together until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add more water.
  8. 8. Pour the turmeric tahini sauce over the cauliflower, then add fresh coriander or parsley. Your meal is served!
