Herring with Mustard Sauce

Herring with Mustard Sauce

For 2 people:

⏰ Preparation Time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of herring fillet
  • Buckwheat toast (gluten-free)

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp plant-based mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp skyr
  • 1/2 tsp honey mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 sprig of dill

 

Instructions:

  1. 1. Cut the herring into pieces.
  2. 2. For the sauce: In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, skyr, honey mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, white pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well. Chop the dill and add it to the mixture. Stir.
  3. 3. Add the herring to the mixture and combine.
  4. 4. Spread the mixture on a slice of buckwheat toast, and it's ready! Enjoy! ?
